I want everyone in this newsgroup to know that I am in no way trying to damage Don's reputation. For all I know, he can be very legitimate. In fact, he did send me his contact information to my e-mail account. I was very surprised to receive it today at work.
These last threads of ours probably came across as if I/we, were on a personal attack against eachothers credibility. I personally do not desire to attack anyone, and I do not have a reason to.
What happen is, I inquired to buy the episodes from Don @ [email]. My opinion was, he was very adamant on receiving the payment up-front, as I "requested" to pay upon receiving. My business instinct took that as a warning. A Warning, "Only" because this little possible deal, was/is not of the typical, not to mention, legal kind. If Don was a merchant at a reputable business, and if I were inquiring to buy items that he has a license to sell, I would never ask for receive now, pay later. I would be inclined to pay now.
Perhaps my "opinion" and "business warning" came across the wrong way, leading Don to become defensive. If anyone one of you fellow Seinfeld fans successfully did business with Don, that is great. However, scary to trust people with hard earned money, especially since money does not grow on trees. If anyone was to lose more at a deal gone bad, it would obviously be the person sending the money.
I'm glad I found a seller who was able to ease my mind and work with my skepticism. The episodes I acquired were pretty decent, and I am acquiring them all from the same person, in divX format. To be able to receive all seinfeld episodes on vhs would be awesome, however though, I cannot get myself to send $100-200 up-front, just to be at someone's mercy in waiting.
