The rate of new articles appearing in the newsgroup tonight has slowed down some, but there is an awful lot of anger here. The fans who liked it are angry with those who didn't; those who didn't like it are angry with the whole Seinfeld team, since the series ended without the brilliant closure the hardcore fans had come to expect. In fact, had come to expect because in the hype so much more had been promised.      Pardo? Hardcore fans? So, those who thought it was excellent are
     just not hardcore fans of the show? Come now. I've watched the show
     since it started. It is going to come back.
      Every interview I've seen with cast members had indicated they are
      burned out. Give 'em a break. It is a tv show. They are real human
      beings. They'll have their one year break, and charge up the
batteries,
      and be back. It was a cliffhanger of sorts. I'm very pleased with the
      show. Many are, they just aren't high fiving all over the damn place.
      Perhaps it is time we started.

Now that I've slept on it, I'm changing my mind about changing my mind. The last episode was a manipulative cheap shot carried by hype. And asses like you are too brokenhearted to admit it. Once you get past your grief that the show is gone, a new grief will break your heart all over again. I think many people will find this- that the show grows on them the more they think about it. The depth and talent of the writers of this show make it so. The only other writing team that comes close is that of the simpsons.
