So I just saw a consumer's show about sports socks and their recommendation was that cotton socks are not good to wear with sneakers as they accumulate too much moisture and that acrylic or other man-made fiber was better. So there I was in the mall searching out acrylic white sports socks, some were too tight, some had no elastic some were too short ... then I realized... I have become Mr. Pitt!!!! LOL
