Last night at 9:00, NBC showed "The Bookstore" (?), the episode from this season in which George brings a book into the bathroom and is then forced to buy it. I was taping it, and noticed that during the final sequence, while the credits are running, there was no Seinfeld. Instead, NBC showed a promo for the rest of its Must See TV lineup. I was wondering if this was the way the show was originally aired, or whether NBC edited it out somehow.

Does anyone know? Did anyone tape this show the first time it was run? Can you check this for me?

When this episode, "The Bookstore" was originally run there wasn't a final sequence. Although there was a rather funny sequence in the beginning with Krammer alone in Jerry's apartment. After seeing this episode for a second time, I still can't figure out if the Krammer bit was real or just him dreaming...

Yes, there was no ending scene (they call it "the tag") the first time either.
