Superman

I know that there is a Superman reference in every Seinfeld, but does the Superman on the fridge count all the time? That seems kind of weak to count it as a reference by just putting up a magnet or whatever it is and saying that is a reference everytime. Same goes for the statue on the stereo stand. Are there Superman references besides these one's in every ep?

Does anyone know if the story is true that states that "superman" appears in some form or another somewhere in every seinfeld episode produced??? Just very curious...Thanks

Its true, Jerry is/was a big Superman fan (i.e. American Express commercials) and I've always been able to see Superman (frideg and/or bookcase) or catch a refernce to him on the episodes I've seen.

Having just started to specifically look for Superman, a reference is indeed in every episode. However, many of them are as subtle as just being pictures of him. Sometimes, he's even referenced in the Jerry's comedy routine before or after the show itself.

You need to see more episodes. :-) A good place to begin is with the episodes which contain no footage of Jerry's apartment, like "The Parking Garage" and "The Chinese Restaurant".

Caught one in an ep last night where his new girl wears the same dress all the time. J says 'she must have closets full of them, just like Superman'. Then they go to her apartment and J refers to it as the 'Fortess of Solitude'.
