Susan's death: was this handled well? I'm not sure... I really liked George ranting, and smoking to get out of the engagement. I think that much as he wanted to get rid of her, as soon as she was dead I would expect him to be racked with guilt. I don't think this would be particularly funny though.

I thought that George's reaction was fitting for his character, but I was surprised at the (lack of) reaction by Jerry, Elaine, and Kramer. As I have said in another thread, Elaine at least should have felt some sadness over Susan's "expiration," not just because of sisterly empathy but because she had opened "the vault" with her. Kramer, who empathizes with the plight of everyone (the "pigman," for example), I expected to be more caring, and Jerry should have fulfilled his role as the "normal" person of the bunch, expressing the obligatory sympathy.
I agree that Janeane Garafolo was great as Jerry's soul mate. I never cared much for her stand-up act, but I loved her in "The Truth about Cats and Dogs." She showed an great deal of charm and intelligence, which carried over into her role in this episode. She also does a great Jerry impression. I hope she figures prominantly in next year's final season.
Janeine was on the Leno show last night, and she said she wasn't approached by the Seinfeld show to return as yet. She said that returning to Seinfeld was possible, but she cracked about not comng back on "Ellen" arfet a couple of guest appearances. I would love to have her return on Seinfeld. She is really good
