Julia Louis Dreyfess -Family Ties

What previous roles has Julia had? I remember her on Family Ties as a lawyer? What other TV shows has she been on?

I remember her being in a sitcom about two people who run a daycare center, or something like that. I can't remember the name though. I think that she played the best friend.

OK, this is all screwed up. JL-D and her future husband Brad Hall appeared together on SNL in the first cast following the departure of the original "Not Ready For Prime Time Players", in the fall of 1980 (same cast that featured Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo). Neither appeared on "Fridays" (an early 80's SNL clone best known for a wicked caricature of Ronald Reagan during his first years in office, and cast member Melanie Chartoff) or HBO's "Not Necessarily the News". Comedian Rich Hall is the creator of Sniglets

Then she was on some short lived sitcom on NBC about a day care center.(had Greg from the Brady Bunch movies and Courtney Thorne-Smith from Ally McBeal and Melrose Place in it, I think it lasted less than a year. This is actually not true, to the best of my memory. Julia was never on Fridays -- it was SNL that she was on with Brad Hall. The Fridays connection is that Michael Richards and Larry David were cast members, as well as Bruce Mahler (the Rabbi in Elaine's building), Maryedith Burrell (the mother of the yogurt kid who calls Jerry a fat f*&k), and Melanie Chartoff (George's girlfriend in the episode with the clown at her son's birthday party). And Brad Hall did the news on SNL, but you may be confusing him with Rich Hall, who did create Sniglets and was also on the SNL news as a part of a mostly different cast.
