Seinfeld in cold weather

I noticed they don't do a lot of episodes in cold weather. I remember the one where they all head out to a dinner party and stop by a bakery for babka while Kramer is very cold outside. ("The Dinner Party"?)

Any other scenes and episodes people can think of?

Yup. Last night's syndicated ep, "The Rye". Kramer kept blankets and hot chocolate in the back of the hansom cab.

Also, in "The Stranded", Kramer picks up Jerry and Elaine from a party. I don't recall the specifics, but I think Kramer's convertible top was broken and when Elaine complained about the cold, Kramer said something like "Just wait till we hit the expressway."

I'm not good with titles but there was George in the "Michelin Man" coat and the ep where Jerry has to reverse his suede jacket to protect it from snow and it has the pink lining causing Elaine's dad to think Jerry is gay (not that there's anything wrong with that)

Yes but the "cold" weather scenes are obviously filmed in a hot California sound stage. Compare them to Law and Order with New York on-location scenes where the water vapour rises from the coffee cups as well as the actor's breath. Real cold. Much more realistic with wide angle shots not the tight close up only shots used in "Central Park" in the Hansom cab episode. Viewers know the difference.

That's easy: The Goretex Jacket episode.

The Gortex jacket ep is the same one as the "Dinner party" Babka episode.

there's also the one where Elaine doesn't trust the "skinny mirrors" in the store, and takes the dress out of the store to find a "non-partison mirror" only to get salt stains on the dress from the snow out side.

or the old ep with Elaine's dad, where Jerry's new suede jacket gets ruined by the rain/snow outside.

or when Kramer's hot tub's heater burns out, and he wakes up in the freezing cold water.

And of course there's George's "I WAS IN THE POOL!"

There... one small one for every character. I'm sure there's tons more.

The Gortex jacket episode is the Dinner Party episode.

"The Rye", the one where George and Susan's parents meet, there is snow on the ground.

Also, "The Jacket" (I think that's the name) when Jerry has the suede jacket and they are going to dinner with Elaine's father and it starts to snow, ruining Jerry's jacket.

That's all I can think of right now.....

I never understood this. Why would snow ruin the jacket unless the snow melted on the jacket, which he could avoid by just brushing it off periodically?
