Pasta Primavera

In "The Shoes", did anyone get the connection between Botticelli's (the store where Elaine bought her shoes) and Pasta Primavera, the dish that Russel Dowripple got sick from? Botticelli was an italian painter who lived during the 15th century and his most famous painting was called - surprise - Primavera! I don't know very much about art history, and frankly I'm not interested either, so maybe this is considered general knowledge to most of you. Anyway, for me this statues a perfect example of how tight a Seinfeld script can be - you always discover something new!

I think the point of the episode was to show that men are obsessed with cleavage and women are obsessed with shoes. Jerry said in his book SeinLanguage or his stand up act that aliens from other planets have probably landed already and no one was paying attention, so they left.
