Elaine becomes attractive!!!!!

Forgive me if this topic has been discussed here before, but has anyone noticed how much more attractive Elaine is now than she was earlier? I think she had a decidedly frumpy look in the early years of the show--no makeup, hair pulled back in a "schoolmarm" bun, ankle-length dresses that made her look like a dirigible.

Now, though, she is positively ravishing!!! Has this metamorphosis ever been explained on the show???

[And for those of you ready to flame me for being so shallow as to judge a woman (partly) on her appearance, I recognize and admit this major character flaw. I'm working on it, OK? I'm seeking advice from Bill Clinton on how to deal with this problem.] :->

To an extent her looks have become more Cosmopolitan instead of soho Boho, but I can't get past the fact that now when she speaks and makes faces, they tend to be a combination of frowns, scowls, and whiny complaints. I think the old Elaine was more attractive because she didn't look like every other pretty woman, and she knew how to laugh more and make astute comments without sounding pissed and bitter. That look you speak of is what makes her an individual.

To put it bluntly, Elaine's turned into Oscar the Grouch. The early Elaine was better. Original, witty, attractive, much less glamourous but certainly not plain.

Me too. She looks like every other L.A. glamourpuss now. She doesn't seem to laugh as much anymore and is much more sour and angry.
