Last night in Australia, The Cartoon was shown. When Elaine brings "her" cartoon in to show Jerry, (pig in the complaints department - I want to be taller) Cosmo has taken his vow of silence. Jerry changes the caption to "I dont have a receipt, my place is a sty", while Cosmo's answer was edited out.

I take it by the various threads regarding the Puerto Rican day that the entire episode is not shown, due to Cosmo supposedly disrespecting the P/R flag by setting fire to it and then jumping on it? I see that happening on the news everyday to the American flag, but I guess the term offensive is subjective. Still, this forum probably shouldn't end up too political.......

Yes, seems to happen to a lot of episodes in Aus. At least two I've noticed that were cut:
- When George has to explain finding a condom in his parents' bed, I think the line that was cut out was Frank saying, "what is this, a profilactic wrapper?"
- When pilot Kramer (raisin guy) was talking to real Kramer in the coffee shop, Kramer says, "now sex, I like it at the bottom, let them do all the work".
I've always wondered if this was just in Australia or may have been syndicated versions. I heard the syndicated shows were also edited?
At least I've got the entire original series on tape.
