I don't know if this is another inconsistency, maybe one of you guys can clear it up for me:

In the syndicated episode that aired tonight (the one where Kramer heads to LA, starting that crazy CA storyline arc with the serial killer et al), Jerry calls Kramer's mom on the phone to find out where Kramer had gone. However, in the episode when we find out Kramer's first name, I got the impression that Kramer hadn't spoken to his mother in quite some time and that none of the "gang" had met his mother before George met her.

Am I remembering correctly?
