all, has anyone else recieved an email from "PARNDANA GARAGE" [email] with subject "check out this patch from microsoft" which is infected with W32.Gibe.B@mm? the reason i ask is there seemed to be a lot of email addresses from this news group......

Who, me? Was there an email address as well? It can't be some "Outlook/OE"-type address book worm from me since I don't have any newsgroup email addresses on my computer. Not to mention the fact that I just installed a new HD and haven't even set up email yet. ;-)
I'm wondering if it just took the names of people from this group, or if the virus-sender also used the email addresses?
Oh, wait--could The News Guy(Mike) be infected with an address book worm? He recently sent out an email to everyone who had contributed a script transcription. Mike, are you infected? Are you going to vomit? Quick, get rid of that black and white cookie! :-)
