Two days ago I watched the episode of Seinfeld in which George has a little chat with Norm from Cheers (The Tonight Show Backstage). My mom asks me who that guy is. I say it's Norm. She think it's John Goodman. Yesterday I was watching TV and I stumbled upon Cheers, a show I don't like. I call my mother to show her Norm. She says: "Aha, that's the guy, you were right." I keep watching Cheers a little more, and guess who enters the cafe? Micheal Richards!!

He played a bad guy who had some kind of wedding-bet going on with the bartender in Cheers. He lost. No physical comedy, no jokes, plain Cheers :) So he wasn't playing a Kramer-kind-of-character.

Eddie was basically after free drinks, not the bar, so when Sam was going to go through with the marriage, he had called Eddies bluff. Eddie kept backing down so he could get something out of Sam, and if I recall correctly ( which is not very common) he ended up with some pretzels or something.
