FINALLY, let's end this flippin' debate! Elaine from her own lips said she was *NOT* Jewish. No ambiguity, no innuendo, she's simply *NOT* Jewish.
Kramer asked Elaine and Jerry to come to a Jewish singles night and Elain says, and I quote, "I'm not Jewish"
Now stop the insanity! ;)
Be careful what you say here...Big brother Jerry is watching you. Notice how things that are discussed here end up on the show? I wouldn't doubt if the mystery surrounding Jerry's Bike and computer and the superman statue don't make an appearance in the next few shows.

Sorry to disappoint you, but although the writers may have put that line in there, the entire show is based on three characters who are a certain type of Jew (schlemiels, Jerry, george, elaine) and one lucky gentile, the sclamazel (Kramer). I may have shlemiel-schlamazel reversed, but please see my recent post about "the jewish thing--the final word" (posted by Anti-OJer) for a ccmplete exposition.
