Did anyone see The Office in the UK, David Brent (Ricki G ) worked the yada yada yada, and also bada bing (Sapranos) sayings in to the script of the final episode, i'd love to know what our american friends would make of that series.

The Office was superb, but Americans might not get a lot of the comedy in it.

Yet again though, the american studios are going to bastardise it into a US style "sit-com" based in an office rather than expecting the public to be capable of viewing it as is. As an aside, did anyone happen to see the recent US version of Fawlty Towers - going by the name of Payne, and involving similar to watch. It was an insult.

The problem with some of the US networks is that they have a general assumption that Americans take everything at face value...
