No. The DVD was about an hour and didn't have Jerry introducing stuff at the comedy club, the apartment and the coffee shop. There were lots more clips and bloopers in the special too.
They showed a special tonight in Australia too. This one had Larry David talking about how the network kept ordering more episodes and how he was getting more freaked out everytime it happened.
Is this the same one that was on NBC ?

The NBC special was pretty similar to the documentary that was on the DVD. Pieces were cut out of the DVD documentary for the special. Plus some of the interviews were dropped in from other parts of the DVD to make up the NBC special version.
I thought it was funny to watch some rights and clearences in action between the two. The one that stands out a lot is that they blurred out the face of Jason Alexander's co-star on the clip from E/R on the DVD, but showed it normal on the special.
