Why does everyone in the group seem to like Babu, and/or be interested in him so much? Was he that likeable, or is the revenge factor in everyone's mind?

If Jerry does not bring Babu back....
then he is a bad man! A very bad man!
I think if we whine and beg enough (like Kramer in The Contest) he will finally say "Oh all right".
