Lousy episode last night. A caricature of past greatness. No plot, just a bunch of cartoon characters hamming it up. Me thinks they're tired of it all -- and it shows. Maybe their hidden agenda is to get us to hate them all so that by the end of the season they won't be tempted to come back again -- at any price. If that's their goal, they're well on their way to succeeding. M. Elmes

Ok, in other words, if someone doesn't find the show all that funny or as funny as some of you, that person should not watch the show again, that person is attacking the show, etc. etc. etc. Stop living in la la land and get real. Sometimes a show is good and sometimes it is not so hot. So what is the deal? Do you want a group that only writes about the good things and never about what they think could be changed? What do you think this newsgroup is for? It is to THINK, to exchange ideas and discuss. It would be a boring place if everyone was constantly trying to please the group on the board who don't want to hear a word about the show that isn't great. Sorry, but I like the show very much and just because I find that it needs some fine tuning or I don't like an episode doesn't mean I like it any less than any of you. But neither am I or any of the others who want to express their opinions freely going to be a pack of yes men to a minority of people who refuse to let others say how they feel.
Their hidden agenda is to make you stop watching. Then, once you stop watching, the next step is to stop posting.
No plot? It's a show about nothing, it's not supposed to have a plot, remember it's just about real life.
EXACTLY! (Uh, except for the "lousy" and the "past greatness" parts.) The no plot and just hanging out and hamming it up with friends is EXACTLY what makes Seinfeld great. I remember when the show first started, that's what I used to rave about...how they could sit at the coffee shop and banter and I would be rolling on the floor (really) laughing just by relating with their comments and observations.
The plot/formulaic episodes that have sparsely littered past seasons are kind of neat attempts, but they aren't the gems that make Seinfeld great.
Seinfeld is still awesome, and, like Cal Ripken with his Ironman streak, Seinfeld already has earned the title as the best series EVER in the history of television.
