Film Inconsistencies

In "The Comeback" Elaine appears to really enjoy long, overwrought, emotional art house movies. Yet, in "The English Patient" Elaine seems bored and very annoyed by just that type of movie.

Right On. I posted the same idea when people were complaining about this year's crop of &*^%. It would have been much more consistent to have her at least discuss the deficiencies in the movie intelligently. She is of literary bent, whether deserved or not. She would have been at least pseudo-intellectual with her critisism. Playing with her popcorn in the theatre was just silly.

Amen.... arent we all filled with a few inconsistancies...??? I like comedies..but that doesnt mean I am going to go out and see Good Burger ( listed as a comedy ).

This is all phases of life..I like peanut butter, but I dont like peanuts...just because I like eggs....does that mean I like egg salad..?? I adore the smell of tea..but I dont like the taste....

As for Elaine, I like how someone phrased it earlier - something to the effect of how the "Denim Elaine" was better than the new "Leather Elaine." (Of course you men out there will disagree :)
