Yadda Yadda Yadda

What does yadda yadda yadda mean I think it has something to do with oral sex but i may be wrong please explain

THis is an argument I have been having for close to a year. Lola, the wheelchair girl dumps Kramer and calls him this. My friend swears Elaine has called him this also. If so, in which episode??

We had a similar situation in "The Movie." At one point, Elaine asks the ticket-taker, "Hey, have you seen a tall, lanky doofus with a bird face and hair like the Bride of Frankenstien?" :-)

There must be 3 such incidents then where she calls Cosmo a stupid, hipster dufus. I recall the first time I heard her call him that was quite a few years ago, however I don't recall the details. I do know that it was either the same episode or another episode in the same season as the one where Jerry had to babysit Farfle the dog for the guy that got "sick" in the airplane next to Jerry. It is one of many in my archive of videotapes. As a matter of fact, I even had that clip of Elaine saying that to Kramer installed as a .wav file on my PC, so I know it happened for a fact.

I think she called him "Hipster Dufus" in the episode where Elaine thought she had rabies (right?). Although, she's called him dufus a few other times (like the time he encouraged her to run J Peterman's catalog).

When Elaine took over for Mr Peterman Kramer encouraged her. Elaine told Jerry that he was now the dufus instead of Kramer. Elaine found out that Kramer was beating up little kids in Karate class and felt let down. She then confessed to Jerry she was the dufus but I don't recall if she called Kramer a dufus in that ep.

I believe during the episode that Elaine is bitten by the dog and George gets new glasses, Elaine calls Kramer a hipster-dufus. If it is not in this episode, it is somewhere else because I'm sure I've seen her call him that.

No! Elaine might have called him a "dufus", but the girl who was in the wheelchair whom he and George had to buy a new one for called him a "hipster dufus". Remember when he came back to Jerry's apartment all flustered? He said that she told him she didn't want to see him anymore, and called him a hipster dufus and told him to "drop dead". I believe the episode was "The Handicap Spot".

Yes - it was in the episode ("The Glasses") in which Elaine mistakenly believes she has contracted rabies from a dog bite. In her rabies hysteria she says so.

I noticed the "hipster dufus" in that episode also.

This episode was especially hilarious to me because I went through the same thing as Elaine once. I was trying to pet a stray cat one day and it gave me a good scratch. I didn't think anything about it until my wife jokingly said "I hope that cat didn't have rabies."

Well, like Elaine the more I thought about it the more worried I became. I work right next to the campus library so one lunch time I walked over the and looked up rabies in the medical dictionary. I think the first line of the description was "one of the most dreaded diseases of mankind." The description got worse from there!

Anyway, a few days later I came down with the flu and a heavy fever. I was about 95% sure that I actually had contacted rabies from that cat scratch and it was only a matter of time until my jaw locked up! I don't think you can look up the definition under rabies. They refer you to hydrodrophia or something like that which means "fear of water" because your throat gets so bad that you can't drink water.

It just cracks me up that like Elaine I actually looked it up in the dictionary and then started experiencing symptons! I never foamed at the mouth though.

This past week in the reruns I've been liking how Elaine has been going through that phase where George gets scared of her! Of course, George finally got tired of being "the little man" when he ran out of the glass store in pursuit of the rabid dog only to see Jerry's girlfriend kissing Jerry's cousin.

Actually not too far from the truth. I think you will see Clinton giving the following testimony at his deposition:

"Monica Lewinsky was a White House intern, who i encouraged, and yada yada yada, she left with gifts.

"Yadda yadda yadda" is just an interjection. It's used to fill the space between events in a story, or to replace anything insignificant within the story. Example: "My parents had me 34 years ago, yadda yadda yadda, and I got the hell out of there as soon as I turned 18." The "yadda yadda yadda" in this case indicated that this person's childhood was something of a nightmare. You see? :-)

It means: etc., etc., etc., and so on and on, and things like that. I think it's Yiddish for "et cetera" or "id est" yadda yadda yadda.
