Posters clarify that Radar on M.A.S.H. was played by Gary Burghoff, not Jason Alexander, and discuss whether any family relation exists between the actors.
I can't get this crazy thought out of my mind so I'm asking you to help me: Is Radar in M.A.S.H. being played by Jason Alexander? Well, he isn't, according to the credits, but still, they're very similar, both by the looks and in their acting. Don't know Jason's age, but I'd believe he's too young to be in M.A.S.H., so could it be an older relative?
Please clear this thing up for me. I know I'm wrong, but please tell me or I will doubt it...

Radar on MASH was played by Gary Burghoff in both the movie and the tv series. I wouldn't bet the farm on it but I don't believe Gary and Jason are relatives.

Gary Burghoff was in Mash. He's quite old now.
BTW, did you know that Radar had a bad hand? It's handicapped in some way. I watched the show for years, and never noticed that he hides one of his hands (his right one, I believe).
Surprising that they just didn't make it part of the script and his character. Why hide something inconsequential?

Radar was played by Gary Burgoff...but I can see the similare looks they have...still, I think there's a major age difference...
if they ever remake M*A*S*H, Alexander can play Radar....
