Fans identify the episode where Jerry is called a "joke maker" as "The Little Kicks", explaining the scene where Kramer uses the term to defuse tension between Jerry and a movie bootlegger.

   I can't remember the episode where Jerry is referred to a a "joke

Its from "The Little Kicks": Jerry is giving the movie bootlegger a hard time about the big bag of candy he had purchased. The bootlegger gets a little pissed off and Kramer tries to settle the situation by stating, "... He's a joke maker. Tell him Jerry..." Jerry replies with, "I'm a joke maker." (BTW a very good episode IMHO)
