Fans discuss the death of actor Roy Brocksmith, who played a landlord in "The Nose Job" episode and died from diabetes complications at age 56.
My brother, Mother, and a friend of mine all mentioned that they'd heard someone who played a recurring character (in his 50's or 60's) died about a week ago.
I scanned the various newspapers, but saw no obituaries mentioning appearances in Seinfeld.
Anyone else hear this, or was it just a rumor?
Yes, someone died. IIRC the character had a very small part in an episode with Babs - maybe a landlord of hers ?

=LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Roy Brocksmith, a familiar character actor who also staged theater works in his own home, died Sunday (Dec. 16) from complications of diabetes. He was 56.
He played the landlord in "The Nose Job", the one Kramer had to endure while he was getting Albert Pepper's jacket back.
"Babs Kramer, nasty woman. Many a night I had to throw her out on the street, drunken stumblebum. The woman used to walk around here half naked, sucking Colt 45 from a can. Her big fat stomach hanging out, orthopedic hose up to her knees, screaming down the hall, 'Come back to bed Albert, you big hairy ape, and bring back that box of danish!'"
