Episode Titles?????

I've seen reference to episode titles (i.e. "The Contest") many times in this newsgroup but have never once managed to actually see a title mentioned during a show. Am I missing it while trying to pay attention to what's going on during the opening credits? Or are you people somehow privy to the actual script titles, even though they aren't mentioned on the show? How do you know, I ask you ?!?!

At your local bookstore, there is a book titled, "The Seinfeld Companion." In it, you will find titles, brief descriptions, and original air dates to every show up until the books publication.

alot of times, they're mentioned in tv guide, maybe as reruns, but i know i've seen them. It's not in the credits at all.

I often wondered the same thing, and last night (Thurs. April 10), for the first time I saw a Seinfeld title mentioned in the quick guide on the tv page. It was "The Nap" ...by the way. The Hermit "It's never too late to have a happy childhood." (Bumper Sticker)

allow me to ask a dumb question

how do you guys know what the title of a episode is? i don't see any title whatsoever throughout the show. do you guys get it on tv, or somewhere else?

There are several web sites that list all the titles from day 1. I don't know what they are off hand but if you post the question, I am sure you will get plenty of responses where these sites are.

The titles are in TV Guide or your local TV listings (usually), along with a summary of the episode.
