anyone tape Leno Thursday?

Before you say it, yes, I know Michael Richards wasn't on the 5/12 "Tonight Show." He was on Tuesday. What I didn't know was that my all-time favorite rock 'n rollers Huey Lewis and the News made and appearance Thursday on Jay. I was flipping through the channels and caught the last line of what was probab ly the second of two songs they performed. It would mean a lot to me if anyone could inform me if someone taped Leno Thursday hoping to see Richards but got Huey. I know it's a long shot, but hey, maybe you're close to me in Michigan and can drop by the house for a lame video party. C'mon. Ask around. I missed Leno too. However, if you know what's up with Huey Lewis, please let me know. I had heard talk of a new album several months ago, but have not heard anything more. BTW, I tried to e-mail this message, but it would not go through - which is why I had to put it here.

I haven't heard anything about a new album, but I did see more of Huey than I cared to in "Short Cuts" -- there's a frontal shot of him urinating into a river. I'd rather see a new album.
