David, I just saw the airplane episode...I don't think it was the same actor. I'm pretty sure that the flight attendant who was so mean to Elaine was this actor who used to play a very effiminate guy on this terrible '70's show called Too Close for Comfort (about Ted Knight living upstairs from his two daughters). I thin he was a comic named something like JT or JR or something. In any case it definitely wasn't Mark from Mad About You.

Kirsten is right. The actor's name is Jim Jay Bullock, and he did play on Too Close for Comfort. Currently he is featured on a terribly bad talk show (apparently, the job of choice for bad actors who can't otherwise find work) that also features Tammy Faye Baker, former TV evangelist huckster. The show is called "Jim Jay and Tammy Faye." Isn't that so cute you could just hurl?

I don't watch MAY, so I can't comment on the first question, but I do watch "Seinfeld", and the airplane steward, although he definitely affected some of the same mannerisms(not that there's anything wrong with that), was not Jim J. Bullock...

Um, yes, that WAS Jim J. Bullock (or "JM J. Bullock", as he used to be called when he was on Too Close For Comfort about 10 or 12 years ago). I watched his recent short-lived talk show with Tammy Faye Bakker-Messner, and he looks and sounds the same now as he did on that Seinfeld episode 3 years ago.
