How about the theory that Frank is Italian and Estelle is Jewish? That could explain the references to Sicily and Knight's of Columbus as well as eating kasha. Sometimes there are such mixed marriages.

That's a possibility I hadn't considered, although I don't think its likely that Frank and Estelle are from different religions. I don't think this is likely because if Estelle was Jewish, wouldn't we hear more Jewish mother jokes and stuff about this marriage on the show, especially from George?
As far as I know, Costanza is a 100% Greek name. So...

Can we stop with the last name crap? Last names mean SHIT in reference to what a person "is," except for that the person "is" someone with that last name. That's IT!!
