Where is Jerry's agent?

It has been an ongoing inconsistency with plausibilty that Jerry's agent is never mentioned in the show. I'm sure a female agent would compliment Elaine perfectly with the right actress. She could have the same recurrance as say Newman for example. It would add a character and give some struggling performer a break. As an incidental benefit, it would give this newsgroup fresh discussion. It may be too late in the series' life to install that type of character. Jerry did have a female agent, who babied him to distraction, in the episode where Kramer and the Texan are betting on airplane arrivals/departures. I guess it made him swear off women agents.
