Loved the show. Best one I'd seen in awhile. Even my husband noticed the chemistry seemed better and scenes didn't drag as much. When it ended, I even remarked that I wondered if someone had gotten Larry David to write the script! I loved the camera angle on Jerry's girlfriend's feet as she stiffened to open the pickle jar in the nude. Kramer's salad antics in the shower were great too.

Well, another big boost for this episode was that most of all the regulars were together in some scenes. It is when they get together that the writers are at their best. It doesn't seem to work when one of the characters is off on his or her own storyline and there is not much interraction between the 4 main people. Also, having an excellent guest star like James Spader who was great in his role sure helped things along. Jennifer

Definitely one of the best of the season. It's great how Elaine and Puddy have been reduced to 'breaking up for the rest of the day'. I love how this relationship is going. It's wonderful to have the anticipatory feeling again. "Can't wait to see what happens next week". Some days, it's a reason to live!

I think this show works so well (and so like past season shows that were wonderful) because they've added an unknown and fun element to reality, in the form of Puddy and this episode had Peterman who is ALWAYS a hoot. Kramer, as much as I love him is getting too damn quirky. He used to be sorta weird, but now his quirkiness is getting too precious. I loved the shot of Jerry's girlfriends toes, I loved the germ issues, but Kramer making salad in the shower was dopey, like the episode with Newman wanting to eat him, a la Alive!.

What I used to love most was that these were specific and not too weird NY type people who could come together and create hilarity in ordinary things. Peterman and Puddy are VERY NY characters and they're still working so far as I can see, so are Elaine and George for the most part.

But Jerry is getting VERY Californiafied, in his constant changing of girlfriends and Kramer seems to be getting the Hollywood glorification treatment too. Bring back Jerry's mom and dad and uncle. A guy his age wouldn't be changing girlfriends every week, unless he was a total asshole. And Kramer wouldn't be getting "apprentices" who are getting college credit (although the belly voice - "hellllloooooooooooo" - was hilarious in that show).

What I'm saying is the show should get back to REAL.

The last scenen before the credits...Kramer says "I prepared this whole meal while I bathed" and everyone retches. Kind of saw it coming, but still very funny tie-in with the germophobe.

Yes it is. ELaine does a lot of stuff that we often we wish we had the nerve to do ourselvers. Her impulsive reactions in response to perceived slights and insults are marvelous to behold. She's an original and I think she's terrific. Ariosa
