I posted this question before and I didn't get a response, so I'm going to try again. Please, this is driving my husband and I crazy!

In the syndicated episode where Kramer goes to LA, Jerry makes a phone call to Kramer's mom. He talks to her ("Mrs. Kramer") as if he's talked to her before (he didn't even look up her phone number).

YET, in the more recent episode where we find out Kramer's first name, Kramer states that he is estranged from his mother, as if he hadn't talked to her in years. Also, when George enters Jerry's apartment and states that he's met Kramer's mother, Jerry and Elaine are flabbergasted (as if they'd never met her).

Is this just another little inconsistency, am I not remembering correctly, or was there an episode where an explanation was given? Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated!!:)

I wish I could help more. You sound truly desperate.

We must remember the very early episode in which Elaine and Kramer go to pick up The Jacket (the amazing one that attracts women). Remember, it has that scene with K-Man smoking the pipe and he swings around and the pipe hits the doorframe.

Jerry and Elaine are surprised that George met Kramer's mom because he (George) hadn't met her with THEM (like he doesn't have life except as a part of their circle of friends?).

We do hear Kramer's mom's name, but I will have to defer to a fellow ng-er here who has the tapes.

And who can forget Kramer's mom WITH NEUMAN!!!
