I do have my doubts about the J Peterman catalog as I have been catalog shopping and every catalog vendor known to society, all the Peterman type, EXCEPT Peterman has sent me at least one catalog. So I am beginning to wonder if they are somewhat rare.

This past Christmas, my sister said she had ordered me a catalog as a surprise, but she wouldn't tell me which company it was from. She said that I would know it when I got it, and I would get it around Christmas. Well, Christmas came and went, and I never received it. I asked her which company she had gotten the catalog from, and she refused to tell me, because she was certain that it would eventually come, and she didn't want to spoil the surprise. Finally, in April, she admitted that she had ordered me a J. Peterman catalog, because she didn't know that I already knew it was a real company, and she thought it would be a funny surprise. The next day, it arrived.
