hi to all Seinfeld Fans I was rewatching the episode The Mom and Pop Stores, and I noticed something.. in the scene where Mr Pitt needs Elaine to identify the songs on the radio.. Elaine was taking? salt of some pretzel for Mr Pitt.. was is so that it wouldnt make hime thirsty?? in reference to the famous line "Theses pretzels are making me thirsty!!!!"

Well, whether you're crazy or not is independent of Seinfeld, but I think you've pointed out a very distant coincidence. The episode with Elaine removing salt from Mr. Pitt's pretzel happens at least a season earlier than the episode with Kramer doing the line "These pretzels are making me thirsty." At least, that's just from memory--I didn't consult the Seinfeld Air List.

I do agree that it is unlikely to be a reference. More likely, the writers just needed Elaine to be doing some trivial job for Mr. Pitt, like picking out the socks (if it was really a ref, I would have expected Mr. Pitt to say 'Otherwise they make me so thirsty')
Trivia question: What is Mr. Pitt's first name?
Pitt's first name is Justin - however, I have always wondered if he really had some kind of connection to Jackie Onassis (sp?) - if there really is someone who's name is Pitt or something similar. Anyone know?
Jacqueline Onassis did work as an editor for Doubleday Publishing in her later years. It wouldn't be unusual for someone high up in New York publishing circles to know her.
