i heard from an insider of the show that this thursdays episode--the voice--is the best seinfeld episode in about a year. let's hope so! also--remember suddenly susan and fired up? i watched them last week and they both were a lot better than before. give them a try... monday at 8-00 and 8-30. dan

I think some people are being a little unfair in regards to this season's episodes. I thought "The Voice", last night's episode was very good. I think if the same episode was from the '92-'93 season, by now it would be labeled as one of the great episodes. True the show is not as good as it was then, but we can't expect it to still be that great after all these years. But it has maintained a high level of consistency, and is still the best comedy on TV. I think some are looking for any little thing to criticize. They are not true fans.

Look, to me there are those people who will watch a show and they are true fans and if the show is not that good they just won't say anything or they don't feel like saying anything...which is fine. Then there are those people who also love the show just as much but hate to see it slip in quality over two episodes and are concerned and they are just as much true fans as the person who doesn't say anything. Now, the fact that gs12ddj thought the episode was good, I think that is great for them. I am the last person who is going to say what that person should feel. His/her input is just as valuable as anyone else's. AND, there are always going to be people who like something alot and those who don't and both opinions are valuable as long as the intention is not malicious. So, I personally am glad that this person enjoyed the show.
You know, I think everyone wants to like this show so bad they convince themselves it was good even when it was pretty lame, like Thursday's episode. NBC speaks again and everyone goes right along with it.

Well I'm sorry, this was NOT one of the great episodes. I think the premiere was funny, but personally, I think people are making excuses for this show..

No, no, no, no, no. You're missing the point. You're completely missing the essence of classic Seinfeld. The Voice episode was one of those instant classics back to the good-old-days of expert portrayals of four or five people who hang around together. Maybe you've never experienced anything like "HellllLOOOO" or nonsensical bets that are made even though both know what the outcome's going to be despite intentions, but quite a lot of us have, and because of that, it struck us as hysterical. Classic, classic Seinfeld!
