Like, is Newman Jewish, or is he just fat? I think you can be both, but I'm not sure. What really confused me was when I saw him eating a kosher hot dog in that episode where Jerry and George do that funny thing where they get confused and nothing went their way because Jerry was dating that one woman and George was still bald and it was really crazy and there Jerry said, "Hello, Newman," you know, like he always does! Maybe the whole cast is hispanic, because in Spanish, "Hello Newman" easily translates into "Hola, Newman," which is uncanny if you really think about it. Also, I always get confused between the actor and the character being one thing or another, like Jewish and stuff. Aren't they both, meaning the actor and character the same, intrinsically in essence? You can't be one without the other, I'm sure, quite.

P.S. Is Babu Pakistani? In one episode, I remember him saying he was Greek, but had lived his whole life in Pakistan. Maybe just his mom was Greek, cuz you know, greekness is passed down matrilinearly (new word!), although his father might be Jewish. After all, Judaism is a religion, not a nationality, right? There are Jews everywhere, even Japan, I think.
