I saw the "farrewell" clip with greeddays Good riddance playing in it and I am not ashamed to say i cried! I didn't when my granma died but i did when i saw this.

We have all the best parts left here in Finland, because "Seinfeld" is in its 1st season (or so I have been told). I'm a fairly new Seinfeld-fan, so I don't know very much about the show, yet.

As much as I have watched "Seinfeld", it seems to be great (in yesterday's episode there was a big mix-up (or whatever) about Jerry and George being gays (not that there's anything wrong with that)). In fact, it was just the third episode that I r e a l l y watched.

Actually that episode is from the 4th season and is called "The Outing". Look forward to especially the next 5 episodes, since they all qualify into my personal Seinfeld Hall of Fame, and that's quite an achievement if I may say so

Don't get your hopes up. It's easily the worst episode of the entire series. After a modestly amusing (though sluggish) first 25 minutes, the remainder concerns a trial setting where our heroes (and heroine) are subjected to the testimony of just about every guest star who ever appeared on the show. The trouble is--they say nothing that we haven't seen or heard before! It was excruciating to watch 20-30 minutes of these people TALKING about episodes we've seen so many times. Another problem was that the finale was shot with an audience made up exclusively of production company personnel and NBC executives (for secrecy reasons). Therefore, the audience was either too familiar with the material to laugh or too hip to bust a gut in front of their colleagues. When you watch the finale (as if I could possibly talk you out of it) note just how little laughter there is during the episode (not that there were all that many laughs in the script to begin with). Don't say I didn't warn you.

You thrust your negative opinions on them before they watch it, and they're almost doomed to not enjoy it.

You saw this as "the trouble". I saw this as one of the highlights. It was absolutely wonderful to see so many old characters return to take their revenge on the gang.

Then why bother continuing to watch the old episodes over and over? I would think that by your logic, reruns would be "excruciating to watch" as well.

Now this I can agree with. But what were their choices? How else could they have been so successful in preventing leaks before the show aired? The audience HAD TO BE handpicked people that Jerry and Larry could trust to keep quiet. Unfortunately, there was no alternative.

A final word to those of you who haven't seen the finale yet.

You can continue to read what others have to say about the last episode,
but don't let their (or my) opinions sway you one way or the other.  If
you go into it thinking it's gonna suck, then you're likely not going to
enjoy it.
