In fact, the lyrics of Suzan Vega's "Tom's Diner" are about the crap service at the place. Crew bothering about everything but you. Weird enough, somewhere in the restaurant stands a magnification of a review of the place in the NY Times (or whatever paper). It describes what Vega's song is about and concludes: "Sounds typical".

It definitely sounds typical, but if I were owner I wouldn't place that review anywhere in my place. As we left the place, the discussion went like "within a few years this place is bankrupt and everybody will be blaming everything and everybody, whereas the only thing to blame is the crappiness of the place."

Recently I found a website about the NY of the Seinfeld series. Gave a pretty accurate description of many places featured, so you won't need to pay the loads of dollars for the tour and instead check out the places when you happen to be around.

Don't remember the URL though.

I wouldn't mind paying a few bucks to take Kenny's tour. I've heard so many good things about it, I just don't find myself in Manhattan too often. Like not for the last 10 years.
