Favorite Seinfeld Episode

Hi, I write a local magazine column and I am conducting a poll. If you care to enter just leave a message with your five favorite Seinfeld episodes. I will tell you the results on November 1, 1993. We are conducting this pole due to the growing popularity of Seinfeld and after winning the Emmy for best comedy series, supporting actor, and writing in a comedy series, now is the perfect time. Your response is appriciated.

Note: Since we already know which episode almost everyone will have on their list, "The Contest" will automatically be counted as the number one episode.

i'd vote for the junior mints even over the contest.

I don't know the exact titles, but I think my descriptions below are clear:

1 - The Subway 2 - The Keith Hernandez episode 3 - The Nazi show 4 - The Contest 5 - The Chinese Restaurant show.

Here are the ones i think are the best:

	1.  The Keith Hernandez(second spitter)
	2.  The bubble boy
	3.  Chinese Restaurant
	4.  Junior Mint one
	5.  The one where Kramer and Nueman go to court(crazy Joe Divola kicks
	    Kramer in the head-Nueman has faulty radar detector)

I may have missed some but these are the best ones i can think of.

• The outing
• The contest
• The subway
• The junior mint
• The puffy shirt
• kramer in california 1st part

I mention six because "The Contest" is among them.

NO, you are all wrong. Clearly "The Parking Garage" was the best one...

I would have to say that "The Subway" is my second favorite episode, after "The Contest", of course.

I don't know the titles, but here are the quotes I remember from the episodes I like best:

My favorite five episodes, including the Contest (which IMO is not top 5 material) are as follows;

• The Parking Lot episode -- origin of "I hate the Drake"

• The Pick -- I am not an animal!

I keep seeing this episode "Chinese Restaurant" on several of the top five lists posted. I can't seem to remember this episode. Is this the one where the Asian lawyer falls for Jerry because of his so-called "mysterious dark side"?

I don't think so. I believe they are referring to the episode, from the first season, in which the gang waited forever to get seated at a Chinese restaurant. It was the same one in which George kept missing out on using the pay phone ("We're living in a society here!")

No one has mentioned the Indian (or Pakistani) resturant one. It was the one where Jerry convinced his friend to decorate the resturant more authentically and then it went out of business. I could relate to the resturant that changes hands every 6 months.

Just for the record, I also like: The Subway, Keith Hernandez, The Contest, The Pen (The parents and parent's friends were great!), The Cubans, The Pick, and the Parking Garage ones (ok, I like a lot of them). What was the name of the episode where they all volunteered? The goiter, the record collection?

I started the Seinfeld favorite episode poll and yes, there has been one vote for "The Cafe" the one about Jerry getting Babu to change his resturaunt around.

No, that's "The Visa".

"The Chinese Restaurant" is a second season classic, in that it's typically cited (even within the show) as a demonstration of the show being about "nothing". It is also the first ep that did not have a single scene in either Jerry's apartment or Monk's. Probably the next one with this feature would be last sesaon's "The Movie".

The episode entitled "The Chinese Resturaunt" was about Jerry, George, and Elaine wainting for a table in the restaurant for the entire episode. It aired quite a while ago, so if you haven't been watching it from the first episode, you probably missed it.

How could you leave out the masturbation episode..That's by far the best one! The Keith Hernandez/JFK episode is also right up there.

I wasn't trying to leave out the masterbation episode. I knew everyone would have it on their lists. I meant to say that, you wouldn't have to vote for it because it is already #1 on the list.
