In Australia, we recently saw an episode where George was listening to his own answering machine message.
It started .... "Believe it or not George isn't at home" and it was to the tune of a famous song.
Can someone please tell me the name of the song and the words to his message?

I believe the name of the song is "Believe it or not it' just me."
It was also the theme song from the 80's action adventure "The Great American Hero" starring William Katt and Robert Culp.
As far as the words to George's message, I can't remember. Sorry!

I put it on my machine, but it works better this way: Believe it or not ______ isn't home now please leave a me-ssage at the tone If I was here now, I'd pick up the phone Where could I be? Believe it or not I'm not home.
tone and home rhymes a lot better, and the words fit better my way.

another funny scene is when Jerry get's called by a salesperson:
In the other end: the person is introducing himself
Jerry: I'm rather bussy at the moment, can't you give me your home number, and I'll call you back
In the other end: uhm. we arnet allowed to do that
Jerry: Oh, so you don't like complete strangers calling you?
In the other end: ehh.. no..
Jerry: Good, cause then you know how I feel.
Don't forget the episode where Steinbrenner thinks George is dead and Frank Costanza leaves that message on George's machine......
And, Jerry also did a good number when the New York Times called, asking him to subscribe, and he said "Yes" and hung up. I've gotta try that one!
