This is all for naught; All the bickering....

the nattering, the nitpicking, the complaining is, although somewhat entertaining (but getting a little tiresome), pointless. Some people (myself included) loved it. I thought there couldn't've been a better way to end the series. Others believe differently, and felt the episode was lacking andn wasn't "up to the hype". These people are all still REAL fans. I'm still a REAL fan. Just because I don't agree with someone and believe them to be wrong doesn't mean that their opinion isn't valid. That's the beauty of the interpretive system.

But regardless, what does bother me is those few who say the cannot watch the show anymore because they hated the ending so much. Let's face it; One episode does not a series make.

You are SOOOOOOO right! Thankyou for your post. Reading some of these was making me think no understands what makes a "real fan" or a great series. Incidentally, I felt the finale was a letdown. But I will continue to watch my 8 videos full of shows whenever I get the chance. People who will no longer watch cuz of the finale will be missing out.

So you see, it would be pretty slow!

For example, I went to a college which served.... college food. Mass produced, kind of bland, etc.

THEN I went to a different college. It had great food. Lots of variety, and fresh things all the time. Well, as you can imagine, the people at the second college complained about the food! In fact they probably complained MORE than those at the first college. Well having been to a college which DIDN'T have that great of food, the complaining was humorous!

How bout complaints about the college adminstration? Constant. They were probably doing a very good job, but people like to be thought of as being "intelligent", and we love to be arm-chair-quarterbacks (*I* wouldn't do it THAT way!).

Anyways, humans (ESPECIALLY in newsgroups) disagree with most everything... because we can.

It DRIVES ME UP THE WALL! BUT thank God there are some people (Including yourself) who refuse to fall into the complaining game.
