Someone once posted that the reruns won't seem the same after the finale's ending; that because the characters went to jail, they will always seem like criminals.
Well, last night they showed an early episode in which Jerry and George go to a party on Long Island (not to be confused with the Hamptons/shrinkage episode). At the end of that episode, George gets arrested for shoplifting (he stole from a drug store to compensate himself for being shortchanged by the cashier). And Jerry gets busted for soliciting a prostitute. (He only paid her because her services were used by a guest in his apartment, and she refused to leave the apartment until she got paid. A cop walked in just as Jerry was paying her.)
In the last scene, Jerry and George are back in Jerry's apartment after doing time, and they discussed the different guards they had.
Of course, Kramer also went to prison in that 2-part episode when he went to L.A. and was mistaken for a serial killer.
In total, just how many times did these characters go to jail over the course of the series? (Arrests don't count unless it's clear there was a cinviction.)
