Coincidence?

I recently watched Body Heat, a movie I hadn't seen in a quite a while. Early in the film, there is a character, a lawyer named Costanza. A bit later, we find that Ted Danson has a medium sized role. Is there any coincidence to any of this, the name Costanza, or that in The Pilot, George want to paid as much as Ted Danson?
