This has happened to me occasionally. I handle it exactly the way Jerry did. I hold my ground and I don't retreat. Even if our faces are so close our eyelashes are clashing. It takes a lot of will power to face off with a close talker. The funny thing is, they have no idea what they're doing. It's on a completely subconscious level.
When I saw the Close Talker episode, I just about died laughing. And the Schindler's List parody was brilliant...loved the ending.

Yes. It touched on subjects and situations we were all familiar with, and exaggerated them beautifully into a hilarious half hour. Like George being obsessed with not being credited for the Big Salad purchase. Or getting upset with the calzone guy not noticing the tip that he left. Such funny stuff, but such real stuff!

The tip thing struck it big with me. George is right; you don't get credit for the tip if they don't see you put it in the jar. I deal with this situation on a weekly basis where I shop.
On another note, I really enjoyed the Marisa Tomei episode...the scene where George and Elaine are coming up with a lie to tell Susan is hilarious. George's elaborate lie about Art Vandelay was his downfall. He could have easily settle for a simple story about the dentist, but had to go and on about importing and exporting. I'm just surprised Susan didn't break it off with him right then.
