By the way, folks, I work at New York University, and we DO have a student-run scandal sheet (I mean newspaper). I can definitely see one of those poor-excuse-for-journalism students overhearing Jerry's conversation and printing it -WITH ABSOLUTELY NO CORROBORATION!
This is another one of the cases where the line between reality and fiction gets a little more blurry.
NYU's newsrag is called the Washington Square News, and they're always looking for juicy lies to print about celebrities (like about Jerry and George being gay ... I mean NOT being gay ... not that there's anything wrong with that!)
