I would say it would have to be Kramer. I personally think he is far MORE funnier that Jerry. I have enjoyed watching all of Mr. Richards (Kramer) previous work, and the stuff hes done other than Seinfeld recently. He was excellant in Trial & Error.

Maybe Kramer moves in with Elaine, but after a while Elaine moves off to Houston w/ Putty. Then Kramer starts up Kramerica full swing. Kill that new Fred Savage Show, have Kramer walk in and get him to start a buisness together.

I agree that Kramer is the best choice for a possible spin-off, but as funny as he is, it just wouldn't be the same without the other three to help support the plot and get involved in his crazy schemes.

Personally, I think Elaine IS the funniest & most underrated member of the cast.Her character is the only possible spinoff.She's really the only one, that could actually hold her own.Maybe she could get transfered (by J. Pieterman) to head up the west coast office & Putty moves with her & she takes on the west coast & finds friends just like George, Jerry & Kramer. (This of course would never happen, since Julia Louise-Dryfus has said she will not do a spinoff)

Just my two cents.

PS: Remember, the show wasn't even considered funny until Elaine came along (episode 2) & Louise-Dryfus plays Elaine brilliantly.

All of them promised when Jerry announced that "this was it" for the show that none of them (including Michael Richards) said that they would spinoff from Seinfeld. So don't hope for a spinoff.
