Camoes

  David Letterman-       Hiding in the mailbox in the episode "The
                               Sniffing Accountant".    Dave desperately
                              wanted to appear in an episode wearing a
				       disguise,  so Jerry suggested he hop in the
                              mailbox involved in the next scene.
						They had to do about 20 takes because the
                              noises Dave kept making were cracking
					 everyone up.  Then Dave refused to get out of
					 the mail box when Jerry good naturedly asked
 					 him to-  and Dave just kept making noises.
							An enraged Michael Richards sprinted
				       off and returned with half a platoon of set
                    		 security.  Three of them bringing the "Jaws of
                               Life"  (kept on the set in case of any accidents

                               resulting from stunts on the set,  or any
                               serious mishaps that might come about when
                               moving the giant sets around.)
						But  Dave just kept calling the security
                               team "weanies"  and "mooing"  at them.	And
                               Jerry told Richards to calm down, and sent
                               the security guys away.
						Finally,  the cast members on camera in the

					scene were able to grit their teeth and get
					through the take and Letterman's creative noise
					making was edited out.   Although someone has
                             the whole thing on tape-  one of the harder to
					get Seinfeld blooper tapes.
