Okay. In the "Festivus" ep., what is with the pole? I mean, it's obviously a substitution for a Christmas tree of menorah, but why a pole? Did I miss something?

The first thing I thought of was those old aluminum trees with the branches you stick in the holes....Real cheap and trashy looking... Some of them were silver/grey... and some tried to look real... I thought of the pole without the branches....... but thats just me...
