Does anyone know the name, address in NYC, or any other information about the building where Elaine works for J. Peterman? They often show the outside, it looks a little like the Empire State Bldg., but I don't think that is it. Has vertical flags hanging from it.

Well the address shown on the Peterman building is 1325!!! I got this from The Understudy.

And to any future newsgroup readers...... what I am looking for is to identify the REAL BUILDING. Like, if I knew which building it was and where it is in Manhattan, I could visit it and maybe take some pictures in front of it. Somebody must know this!!!!! Especially all you regulars in this group who are experts about the show. Anybody recognize it??

I've always been told that the REAL building (The Shelly as seen on the awning in front of the building) was a building in Los Angeles used as the exterior shot.
Jerry's address on the show was 129 W 81st street and he was shown in Apt 411 apt 3A and of course apt 5A.
The exact address of the building is:
1325 Avenue of the Americas (6th Ave) New york, NY 10019
The building itself is on 53rd street between 6th and 7th ave.
oh btw.. I work there.. and I'm a huge Seinfeld fan!
