Phone Solicitation

Hi group!

Does anyone remember the episode when Jerry received a call from a phone salesman, and tried to get his home number so he could call him back? I loved Jerry's answer to those pesky calls and would like to try it sometime.

Got a call from a home load company. They wanted to lend me money against my house. So I said, " I'm a little busy right now. Tell you what, why don't you give me your home number and I'll call you back later tonight?" (I swear this is true) She said "Who are you, Seinfeld?". I was nearly speechless. We ended up talking for 15 minutes. Not as saleswoman/customer, but as 2 Seinfans. It was wonderful!!

Crazy. I tried it too. When I said it, the guy just said, "Ok, well we'll call back later." and immediately hung up.
