Apparently, they pitched the idea to David/Seinfeld, who sat stony-faced throughout, and heard several weeks later that they wanted the episode: when the Farellys asked when it would need to be written by, they were told that it had already been written in-house, and all they had to do was collect the cash!

I'm wondering what exactly they were paid for.  "The Virgin" shows up
right smack in the middle of Season 4's "writing a pilot for NBC" story
arc, and the "Marla, the virgin" character runs through two episodes,
culminating with her leaving with JFK Jr. at the end of "The Contest".
What was the nature of their contribution, that their names only warrant
mention for this one episode?
